I have read several uninformed reviews. Leave the container empty in between uses. It only cleans items as thoroughly as soap and water. One has been successfully used for years by a friend. Great, I used it to refresh a sofa. I'm completely fixated on this stuff. I really wish I had far more carpets to clean since that would be an OCD cleaner's DREAM. Additionally, this is a necessity if you own pets. No spray-on carpet cleaner will ever be able to clean your rugs or carpets as thoroughly as a device that really draws dirt, spills, and marks up out of the fabric. That's how easy it is, in fact. It's not too difficult to use this. I try to avoid reading instructions, but I did review this one's setup to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and it wasn't at all difficult. Overall, I think this is a fantastic product and would (and have) given it to virtually everyone. Excellent tiny device with strong suction. Two suggestions: use Dawn dish soap when the debre clogs the head. As the water in your sink heats up, first place the Sunrise on one end while putting it at an angle. Then, repeat those actions for the opposite side. After three or four minutes, flush that side of nosel to where the suction starts for a few minutes. After performing this suction, everything was as new. Last but not least, if you are cleaning up, say, animal messes, simply emptying the dirty aquarium wouldn't get rid of the scent. A detachable black gasket is located at the base of the filthy tank.
