I simply wanted to touch up three little places in my home (I blame the child or the cats, or both), and based on the testimonials, which seems like the equipment to accomplish it. I didn't get a whole household steam cleaning system. I had nothing but praise for this product at first—the ease of use, installation, portability, etc.—until the results showed that it had failed to remove the stains from my carpet.
